About

I have been an educator in the Upper St. Clair School District since 2003 in the World Language department.  During those years I have taught both Spanish and German courses at the middle and high school level.  In addition to my teaching duties I perform a number of educational technology related functions at the K-8 level.

I received my Master of Arts in Teaching in 2003 from the University of Pittsburgh after a year-long internship at the Mount Lebanon High School.  In 2010 I completed a Masters of Public Management in the field of Educational Technology Management at Carnegie Mellon University.

As a teacher-leader my focus is always on student learning and student experiences and how the way we “do” school can be enhanced through the thoughtful use of technology to make authentic learning connections possible for students.

Mr. Platts,

It may be in our mutual interest to network. Are you available for coffee in the coming weeks? Our offices are located in Green Tree.

Mike
